Prevailing winds rode rock into small particles, move these sediments, which then deposit in the canyon. This process is known as aeolian deposition.

Bridge Between Continents has compact bunches of moss communities surrounding the edges of the fissure. Mosses are grouped in the bryophyte division. They are considered a non-vascular, which constrains their size making the plant structure more compact and close to the surface soil.
